Watch: Kohli, Maxwell showcase their football skills ahead of IPL opener

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s famous star Virat Kohli arrives in Bangalore ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season and RCB’s Unbox event. Kohli, who missed India’s 4-1 Test series victory over England, was recently blessed with a baby boy Akai. In 237 games for RCB in the IPL, Kohli amassed 7,263 runs at an average of 37.2 and a strike rate of 130.0, making him the leading scorer in the history of the tournament.

His best score of 113 came against Kings XI Punjab in 2016, which took RCB to 211/3. Kohli, who has yet to lift the IPL trophy with RCB in the last 16 seasons, will be looking to get his maiden title in the upcoming edition.

RCB have strengthened their squad in the IPL 2024 auction by acquiring foreign and Indian talent, which includes Alzarri Joseph, Yash Dayal, Tom Curran, Lockie Ferguson, Swapnil Singh and Saurav Chauhan.

RCB will kick off their season opener against Chennai Super Kings at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday.
