New Delhi:
The Electoral Commission today released data it received from political parties on electoral bonds, which has been submitted to the Supreme Court under seal.
“…the Supreme Court Registry has returned paper copies as well as digitized records sealed in pen drives. The Election Commission of India today uploaded the digitized data received from the Supreme Court Registry. The Court discussed the elections on its website bonds,” the European Commission said in a statement today.
The data was released by the Election Commission a day after it announced the dates for the Lok Sabha elections to be held in seven phases from April 19 to June 1.
The latest document published by the EC shows only the raw data of bond date, denomination, number of bonds, issuing State Bank of India (SBI) branch, date of receipt and date of credit. It did not disclose the bond’s unique number.
