President Joe Biden fired back at his predecessor, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, for mocking fellow candidate Nikki Haley’s husband, saying he thinks the nation’s military is “idiots,” adding “this guy won’t serve” “If his country slaps him in the face, he will take revenge on his country. “
President Biden posted on his official of national service if it slaps him in the face.”
Biden’s statement came in response to remarks the former president made at a rally in the state on Saturday.
“Where is her (Nikki Haley’s) husband?” Trump added: “‘Oh, he’s not here, he’s not here.'” According to “The Hill”, what happened to her husband? What happened to her husband? where is he? He is gone.
Haley’s husband, Maj. Michael Haley, deployed to Africa with the South Carolina Army National Guard last June. In mid-June, she bid farewell to him along with about 200 soldiers at a ceremony at the Castle Military Academy in Charleston.
Earlier, Nikki Haley also attacked Trump for his remarks about her husband, who is stationed abroad in the military, according to the “Capitol Hill” report.
“Michael was deployed to serve our country, something you knew nothing about,” Haley posted on
“He’s been my rock,” Haley said.
“We both spent our service lives, so when he went to deploy, I had his full support. If I happened to run for president, he had my full support,” she added.
Haley and her husband have been together for more than 25 years, and he often attends her campaign rallies. The former United Nations ambassador has often discussed marrying a member of the armed forces; her husband joined the National Guard in the mid-2000s, The Hill reported.
Haley was initially sent overseas during his first term as governor of the Palmetto State.
