A Russian man claims artificial intelligence (AI) helped him find the love of his life.
He said he used a Tinder bot powered by ChatGPT, which helped him connect with more than 5,000 women on the app.
Alexander Zhadan said he proposed to the woman he liked, now his wife, after meeting some 5,239 women.
Zhadan said in a long post on X that the ChatGPT bot sometimes pinned him six dates a day. He said he stopped using the robot after meeting his wife, Karina.
I proposed to a girl I’ve been chatting with for a year on ChatGPT. To do this, the neural network re-communicated with the other 5,239 girls, treating them as unnecessary, leaving only one. I’ll share how I made such a system, what the problems were and what happened to other girls.Wire pic.twitter.com/fbVO7OmZhF

He said Karina was unaware of the role the ChatGPT bot played in her relationship. Zaidan said she reacted calmly when he told him the truth.
Zaidan said the bot set dates for him, made “small talk” with women and deleted inappropriate matches.
“The machine almost always gets the right girl right,” he wrote.
He said he used several variations of the ChatGPT bot to find “the right woman.”
