Reliance Jio Q3 profit rises 12.3% to Rs 5,208 crore

Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd, the telecom and digital services arm of India’s most valued company, said fiscal third-quarter net profit rose 12.3 per cent to Rs 5,208 crore from a year earlier due to strong subscriber growth.

Revenue from operations increased 10.3 percent to Rs 25,368 crore. The company added a total of 470.9 million or 11.2 million users in the December quarter.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) grew 12 per cent in the three months ended December 31.

Total data traffic on Jio network grew 32 percent to 38.1 exabytes during the December quarter.
