LEGO has unveiled one of the most realistic sets ever: a golden retriever with exact proportions of a real-life puppy.
The 30cm-tall puppy is made from more than 2,100 bricks, achieving a lifelike appearance thanks to a clever combination of studded bricks and varying levels of ramps that give it a fluffy fur look.
Lovely details also bring the model to life, from the gray toe beans under the paws to the teal blue collar with gold badges.
The finished set is also posable, allowing builders to adjust its front paws to create cute poses and move its ears, head and tail to convey different emotions. Puppies also have movable tongues and closable mouths.
At £129.99, it’s well under budget, but its realistic looks and charming character mean it’s a must-have for devoted dog lovers.
