Nobu Marrakech is located in the affluent neighborhood of Hibernage in Marrakech. Famous for its high-end restaurants and nightclubs, luxury hotel and casino, the area has a different atmosphere than the bustle and energy of the medina, but it’s just outside the city walls so you’re still close to the action.
The Nobu is conveniently located a 15-minute drive from the airport and approximately 20 minutes’ walk from the Koutoubia Mosque, Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and the souks. famous Ramamunia Palace Hotel Just across the road (and have a drink at the bar), you can have dinner in the dramatic Comptoir Darna restaurant, or head to the luxurious Royal Mansour restaurant for a stroll in the gardens.
The Jardin Majorelle Gardens and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum are less than a 10-minute taxi ride away.

atmosphere
Nobu’s only sophisticated and elegant venue north african outpost Blending its signature Japanese minimalism with Moroccan design. it oozes Laid back luxury – The brightly lit, wood-paneled, sophisticated atmosphere of Nobu will be familiar to anyone who has dined at other restaurants. The hotel also houses a Louis Vuitton boutique.
Typical riad details appear throughout the hotel, from intricate tile work and columns carved with Moroccan stucco to terracotta tones and tadelakt walls. The bustling rooftop offers 360-degree views of the Atlas Mountains, and the lobby is a dramatic circular space with a Japanese bonsai tree at its center.
The atmosphere inside is peaceful thanks to the dim lighting and ambient music (there is live entertainment daily during breakfast). The centerpiece of the hotel is undoubtedly its rooftop. The upper deck houses a swimming pool surrounded by lounge chairs, while a bar and rooftop garden restaurant meander around the lower deck. You can enjoy lunch and dinner with panoramic views of the medina and mountains – it’s especially lively at sunset, but club-style music continues into the early morning hours (you’d be forgiven for thinking you were at a beach bar).
Serve
The service at Nobu was excellent and attentive. Check-in is seamless and smooth (your luggage arrives at your room before you do), transfers during your stay are quickly arranged (via affordable local drivers or one of the hotel’s fleet), your coffee order at breakfast is always remembered, and the staff are full of tips and suggestions for your time in Marrakech.
bed and bath
Nobu Hotel has 71 rooms with mountain, mosque or street views. A variety of room types are available, including deluxe junior suites, one-bedroom suites and family suites. All rooms are very spacious, including entry-level rooms with king-size or twin beds, and a small sitting area.
Rooms feature Nobu’s minimalist aesthetic, with soft furnishings in earth tones and a base of wood paneling, furniture and hardwood floors. Moroccan-inspired decor adds character, from textured cushions to embossed wardrobe doors to printed textiles that pay homage to traditional Marrakesh patterns. Abstract artwork hangs above the bed, brightening the space.
The bathroom is marble-clad and spacious, with a rain shower and Clarins toiletries. The hotel is equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine so you can enjoy your caffeine fix.

diet
Naturally, Nobu Marrakech excels when it comes to gastronomy. Breakfast is a generous continental buffet with a variety of Moroccan delicacies. Granola, yogurt and fresh fruit sit alongside meats, cheeses and smoked fish, as well as eggs and omelets. Try traditional breads and pancakes such as Hobbs, Msemmen and Hacha Serve with spreads and dips like honey, jam and local soft cheeses, or savory garnishes like olives. Laubia and grilled tomatoes and peppers.
Nobu offers three tempting dining options. The casual rooftop garden restaurant and bar serves popular fare for lunch and dinner – start with carpaccio and salad, then follow up with salmon steak, cheeseburgers, pizza or pasta (there are also kid’s menus).
The menu at the poolside sushi bar includes cold cuts like ceviche and tacos, as well as nigiri, maki and sashimi. Attracting tourists, locals celebrating special occasions and hotel guests, Nobu Restaurant features moody lighting, show cooking stations and a bar with live music (dancers perform during dinner and a DJ takes over before bed). The menu features all of Nobu’s signature dishes, from the famous miso black cod to jalapeño yellowtail sashimi, crispy tuna rice and miso eggplant. Between the Moroccan tagines, Japanese-Peruvian cuisine makes a nice change.

Nobu’s Underground Pearl Spa has numerous treatment rooms and facilities. There are separate male and female spaces with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and quiet room. The spa’s menu is extensive – the traditional hammam is a must-do on a trip to Marrakech, but there are also Japanese-inspired treatments (try “Nobu Zen”), skin-renewing facials and bespoke massages.
The rooftop circular pool may be suitable for socializing and sunbathing, while the 25m in-ground heated pool in the blue-lit cave room is suitable for a refreshing dip. There are lounge chairs around the pool for relaxing between dips, as well as children’s floats for family time.
Nobu’s gym is equipped with Technogym machines and free weights, while group classes, including Pilates, yoga, dance classes and aerobics, take place in the fitness center or on the rooftop garden.

Accessibility
Public areas are wheelchair accessible, with lifts to all floors (including the rooftop) and accessible parking. Not all larger suites have been adapted, but some are wheelchair accessible and feature raised toilets, grab bars, lowered sinks and bathroom emergency cords, as well as visual aids (braille and tactile signs) and auditory guidance. Some of the larger suites have not been remodeled.

Is it suitable for families?
