Donald Trump laughed at Emmanuel Macronof sunglasses during his Rambling speech in Davosjoked: “What the hell happened?” about the French president’s appearance.

“What happened?” he drew laughter from the audience, before praising Macron for being “tough” when discussing drug prices at the last meeting.

Responding to news that the French leader was unlikely to join, Trump told reporters: “Nobody wants him because he’s going to be gone soon.

“I’m going to put a 200% tariff on his wine and champagne and he’s going to join in,” Trump told reporters. “But he doesn’t have to join.”
