The Economic Club of Detroit is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization focused on business, government and social issues. The organization has hosted every sitting president since President Richard M. Nixon.
Trump spoke at the organization’s MotorCity Casino Sound Board Theater at 2 p.m. ET.

Trump touts steady inflation in December
The Consumer Price Index showed inflation ended relatively stable, with consumer prices up about 2.7% from a year earlier – figures consistent with the November report.
