An intruder broke in kensington palace Twice in the past few days Christmasthe police have confirmed.
The Metropolitan Police said a 39-year-old man had been charged following the two incidents at the palace within days.
Derek Egan was arrested on Sunday, December 21, and Tuesday, December 23, for allegedly trespassing on a protected site in Kensington Palace Green.
He has now been charged with trespassing in a protected place and breaching bail conditions and has been remanded in custody. He appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 24.
It is a criminal offense to trespass at a protected place designated under the Serious Organized Crime and Policing Act 2005 (SOCPA).

Kensington Palace is the residence of many members of the royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The couple used Apartment 1A as their residence at the London palace, but were reportedly not there when the incident occurred.
It is believed they were staying at Anmer Hall, a private 10-bedroom country mansion on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk.
