George Clooney Discussed the time he had with Donald Trumpsaying that the President of the United States was once a “big fool.”

Clooney, 64, has long been an outspoken liberal and made headlines last year after he wrote an op-ed urging Democrat Joe Biden to drop out of the presidential race in the hope that Kamala Harris would mount a successful campaign to save the country from Trump.

Trump also launched a verbal attack on Clooney, Call him a “second-rate movie star” and a “Stab in the back”.

Now, in a new interview, Clooney is opening up about his past good relationships with businessmen and former officials. apprentice Celebrity Trump, long before he became a politician.

"I know him well," Jay Kelly star told type. “He called me constantly and one time he tried to help me get to the hospital to see a back surgeon. I would see him in clubs and restaurants. He was a big fool. Well, he was. Everything changed.”

Earlier this year, famous democratic donor clooney Said “everyone” is worried about being targeted by the Trump administration, but added that won’t stop him from standing up for what he believes in.

“Of course, everyone is worried about it,” Clooney told CNN’s Anderson Cooper. “But you know, if you spend your whole life worrying about things, you’re not going to get things done.”

“I want to be able to look my kids in the eye and say where we stood and what we did at certain times in history, and I have no problem with that,” he said.

Last week it was revealed that Clooney, his wife Amal and their eight-year-old twins Has obtained French citizenship.

Earlier this year, Clooney talked about leaving Los Angeles for a quieter life in France and why he felt it would work out better for his children.

“I’m worried about raising our children in the Hollywood culture of Los Angeles. I feel like they’ll never get a fair shake in life. In France, they don’t care too much about fame,” he told us Esquire October.

“I don’t want them walking around worrying about the paparazzi. I don’t want them to be compared to other people’s famous kids.”

Clooney and his wife bought a house in Provence in 2021 for $8.3 million. The 425-acre estate reportedly consists of an 18th-century mansion, complete with swimming pool, tennis court, extensive gardens and ornamental lake.
