The victim further claimed that when she tried to stand up, Barmore grabbed her shirt “near the neck.” Barmore is described as lunging at the victim but not touching her.

The victim told police she had bruises and called a car service to drive her and the child to Delaware.

The victim initially hesitated to file charges in September, fearing retaliation. In early December, the victim told police via email that she did not wish to proceed with legal proceedings.

The complaint was issued on December 16. Barmore is scheduled for February 3, five days before the 2026 Super Bowl takes place in California.
