A woman was charged murder After the death of a pensioner Christmas sky.
Stefania Glowka, 63, is accused of killing Tamara Glowka, who was in her 80s.
The Polish citizen was remanded in custody at a hearing at Bristol Crown Court on Wednesday but she did not appear in court.
Ms. Glowka’s next court appearance is March 20, 2026, and a provisional trial date has been set for June 1, 2026. She has yet to enter a plea.
Police received reports of an attack at a flat in Keeper Road, Devizes, Wiltshire, on Christmas morning. Ms Glowka was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Ms. Gloca was known to the defendants and her identity was discovered in public court documents.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police said: “Formal identification of the victim is still pending.
“A preliminary autopsy has been carried out but further information is needed to determine the cause of death.”
