previous kiss Guitarist Vinnie Vincent has slammed “emotional trolls” for questioning the unusually high price of his new CD single.

VincentThe 73-year-old has doubled the price of his new single “Ride The Serpent” to $225 after announcing earlier this month the release of 1,000 CD singles autographed by the rocker. According to Vincent’s online store, the limited edition is priced even higher at $300 for international orders.

When the musician first announced the release, he said fans should “expect” a high price tag if they supported his music.

On December 1, he wrote on Facebook: “I understand people complaining, complaining and bitching about the price, but you also have to understand that I’m in a position where my music is so popular that it would be targeted and immediately taken away from me, which I can’t/won’t allow.”

“I wish that wasn’t the case, but I’m honored that it is. … It’s a double-edged sword for me, but I sincerely hope that when you think about it, you will understand the dilemma I face.”

However, Vincent’s patience began to wear thin as social media users shared their angry reactions to the pricey eight-minute single, with one writing on Instagram: “Legendary guitarist? You’ve been with Kiss for two years and now you’re charging $300 for a song man.”

Another person lashed out at X, “This guy is delusional. His music isn’t worth it, and besides, he’s fooled too many people and isn’t worth taking seriously. Spend your money at your own risk.”

Vincent took to social media to clap back at disgruntled people and began disabling comments on his posts, writing: “I disconnected comments because of those immature whining ‘I want free babies.'”

“It’s so annoying to deal with such stupid people who still unfortunately think someone owes them something. No one owes them anything. Especially me. If they want my music, they can pay, or wait a long time to get it pirated.”

He wrote on Saturday: “I’m a manufacturer. I make high-end products. I set my prices accordingly. It’s that simple. There’s no argument here. No discussion. I created an elite product for elite taste. So for those who claim to have the right to complain about price, the crush-and-grab EBT card group…fuck off. Fatigue right now is exhaustion.”

The guitarist previously warned in another post, “Don’t trample on the good vibes of my world and this fan site. There are many other sites that emotionally disturbed trolls can try to destroy.”
