New dashcam video believed to show missing person Texas Teen Camila Mendoza Olmos Day her disappearance According to authorities, she was walking along a road just blocks from her home.

grainy clipping, Records recorded by a passing driver on Mustang Avenue in Bexar County and released by officials on Monday show a person wearing clothing consistent with what Camila was wearing when she left her home Shortly before 7 a.m. on Christmas Eve.

Investigators say the video is the last confirmed sighting of the missing teen.

“If this is indeed her, then we believe it was a good direction of flight,” Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said at a news conference. “We are sharing that information, that video, with everyone in the hope that by now someone has collected similar video.”

Camilla left her home in the 11000 block of Caspian Spring on foot the morning of Dec. 24, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. She was last seen wearing light blue pajama bottoms, a black hoodie and white shoes.

Surveillance video from earlier that morning showed Camila rummaging through boxes outside her home before walking away.

Her vehicle was left behind, and investigators believe she was only carrying her car keys and possibly her driver’s license. Her cellphone was later found in her bedroom, turned off, according to her family.

Salazar said the circumstances of her disappearance caused immediate concern.

“It’s ‘highly unusual’ that she left items at home before she went missing,” Salazar said. “That’s why we’re basically working around the clock on this case.”

Salazar said investigators had “indications that the young woman had had suicidal thoughts in the past” as well as “some depression issues.” But he warned against drawing any conclusions.

“What young person hasn’t experienced depression at some point? We can’t necessarily just say, ‘Oh, well, that’s how it must be,'” Salazar said.

“We have to consider all possibilities, from intentional disappearance, to the possibility of self-harm, to someone possibly taking her,” he added.

Detectives have not ruled out the possibility of kidnapping or human trafficking, Salazar said.

“We definitely don’t want to miss anything,” he told ABC News. “The ground search is somewhat limited to a few square miles. We also don’t rule out the possibility that this case could take us beyond the borders of the continental United States.”

Salazar also confirmed that Camila was not detained by ICE agents and stressed that she is a U.S. citizen.

According to ProPublica, there have been more than 170 cases in 2025 of U.S. citizens detained by federal agents during raids and protests.

Authorities said the Department of Homeland Security was monitoring border crossings for signs of her.

The new video comes from a driver traveling north on the Wildhorse Parkway, who filmed the footage around 7 a.m. between Shetland Wind and Caspian Spring.
