Two men have been arrested after a pedestrian aged in his 80s was killed in a car crash in Gillingham, Kent.
Kent Police The man was hit by a gray Mercedes on the A289 Gads Hill at around 12.10pm on Monday, December 29.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was being carried by a car and was found lying on the ground on Grange Road.
The treatment he received was South East Coast Ambulance Service But died on the spot.
Later that day, two men were arrested in connection with the crash – a 29-year-old man from Chatham and a 28-year-old man of no fixed address. They remain in custody.
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or saw a vehicle or pedestrian before the collision to contact them.
