North Carolina authorities said 27-year-old Grace Lilly had been harassing her ex-boyfriend for two years over the cat.
Eli Lilly first contacted the Charleston Police Department ex-boyfriend In October, he claimed Lily took away his pets.
According to case documents, the former couple bought the cat in late 2022 and owned it throughout their relationship.
The boyfriend filed a claim and delivery action against him to obtain title, and won in court.
After the cat was returned to him, Lily was accused of frequently trying to contact her ex-husband, trying to gain access to his apartment, and trying to take the cat away.
Lily also allegedly tried to interfere in her ex-partner’s relationship after the breakup.
He told police Lily’s level of intrusion made him “paranoid about her sudden presence in his life”.
He was able to provide police with photos, videos and screenshots to back up the evidence.
Video apparently showed Lilly trying to enter his apartment twice in October 2023, and in October 2025, investigators obtained Lilly’s phone records showing she called him 211 times since July 2023.
On November 4, he received a restraining order against Eli Lilly. This resulted in an arrest warrant for Lily. She was detained last Sunday.
Jail records show Eli Lilly was also arrested in June 2016 and charged with two counts of manufacturing and distributing crack (first degree) and possession with intent to distribute marijuana. The charges were dismissed in August 2017.
Lily, who was part of the cast of Southern Hospitality, announced in January that she was moving on to “bigger things.”
According to Bravo, Lilly said she sought guidance from the universe through spiritual practices to help her understand her emotions “at a deeper level.”
She added that she greatly admired Bob Marley and was connected to him spiritually.
“I told him, I was like, ‘I love you, Bob! I’m going to keep spreading your message.’ He was like a role model for me throughout my life,” she said.
The show follows the trials and tribulations of employees at Charleston restaurateur Leva Bonaparte’s restaurants. Lily is listed as one of the main cast members of the entire show so far. The show is a spin-off of another Bravo show, Southern Charm.
