An endangered wild cat caught on camera After 30 years of hiding.

A video shared by the Sabah Forestry Department showed a flat-headed cat wandering around the Princess Sirindhorn Wildlife Sanctuary. Thailand. The house cat-sized felines were last seen in Thailand in 1995.

The nature reserve said 13 flat-headed cats were detected using camera traps in 2024 and 16 in 2025. Wild cat conservation group Panthera said the findings showed relatively high concentrations of the species.
