Both models use a 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder engine with petrol and CNG options. The vehicles come with company-fitted CNG and speed-limiting function. Hyundai offers a three-year warranty on these factory-fitted systems.
The Prime HB price starts at ₹5,99,900 and the Prime SD price starts at ₹6,89,900. Hyundai says the new range is aimed at fleet operators and taxi entrepreneurs. The company is aiming for low operating costs and stable income for users.

Garg said the launch also marks the company’s formal entry into the commercial mobility sector. The Prime range is supported by Hyundai’s nationwide network. Fleet Care Advisors will assist taxi and fleet customers at the dealership.
Hyundai says the Prime HB Grand i10 is based on NiOS, and the Prime SD is based on Aura. Both vehicles are designed for taxi and fleet operations. The Prime Taxi range will be sold in Atlas White, Typhoon Silver and Abyss Black.
Hyundai says that the Prime HB returns 27.32 km/kg in CNG mode and the Prime SD returns 28.40 km/kg. Maintenance cost up to 100,000 kilometers is pegged at 47 paise per kilometre.
Both models come with six airbags, rear AC vents, four power windows, a driver seat height adjuster, steering-mounted audio controls, speakers, rear parking sensors, 3-point seatbelts, an emergency stop signal, a company-fitted speed limiter at 80 km/h, a rear defogger, electrically adjustable ORVMs, central locking, a fast USB Type-C charger in the front row, and footwell lighting. Rear adjustable headrests and keyless entry are available only on Prime HB.
Hyundai also claims to offer optional accessories such as a 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera and a three-year warranty. A vehicle location tracking device with four panic buttons is also available.
The company is offering extended warranty for the fourth and fifth years or up to 1,80,000 kilometers. Hyundai is also offering flexible finance plans with repayment tenure up to 72 months.
