Louise Thompson reassured her fans after undergoing a proctoscopy in hospital on Christmas Eve.

“It leaves you completely dumbfounded because you don’t know why anyone should have to go through such poor health countless times.
“I couldn’t believe we were back in this situation again. My heart was pounding everywhere, which just showed how heavy and raw this all felt. It was very unexpected and hard to swallow. It completely devastated me.”
