As stranger things Nearing its series finale, fans are all asking the same question.

After the second part of The final season of the hit Netflix series Christmas day already dropped The much awaited finale of New Year’s EveViewers have taken to X to express their disappointment over lack of major developmentMany wondered why none of the major characters were killed off.
“It’s not that I want anyone to die, but why isn’t anyone dying in sstranger things,” one fan wrote while another agreed, “Not a single main character has died since season 1. Where’s the stake?!?!?”
“I’m so scared for the last episode stranger thingsNo one has died yet, what’s going to happen,” wondered someone else,
,strange things 5 Volume 2 was a massacre… Not that anyone died because god forbid this show has any stake in it, it was just horribly written,” another lamented while another said, “Volume 2 stranger things S5 was good but I’m starting to really dislike the constant explanatory dialogue. Also, no one died which was particularly disappointing. The ending better be spectacular, because if it isn’t and none of the major characters fail, I’ll lose it.
The show’s creators are Matt and Ross Duffer He said that they were not trying to end the series with a massive change of characters like other shows.

He further added, “There’s not going to be a Red Wedding situation. I think there are some things that happen in the finale that are very surprising, but we’re not trying to surprise or upset anyone.” “I hope that by the time people get to the end of the finale, they’ll feel like there’s something inevitable about what’s happening, and that it won’t feel painful but gratifying.”
The brothers also addressed rumors that Steve (joe keery) is going to die during the finale after some dialogue released in the season trailer hinted at this possibility.
Matt told the publication, “As far as Steve’s fate is concerned. I don’t know. I can’t say. That would be the next logical step. He’s being beaten constantly. The only way we can take this forward is death.”
