Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 30-year-old man was stabbed to death on Christmas Day.
West Midlands Police said police were called to Burcot Avenue, Wolverhampton, just after 3.30am on Thursday, where the man had been stabbed.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The force said two men, aged 35 and 58, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Police said they are present at the scene while officers conduct inquiries.
Detective Chief Superintendent Ed Foster said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and are carrying out rapid inquiries including forensic examination, reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to witnesses.
“We ask anyone who may have any information regarding the incident to contact us.”
