Carroll and Manousos initially disagreed on the attitude towards the rest of humanity, with Manousos arguing that they should be destroyed if they could not be returned. This prompts Carol to run away with Zosia (Karolina Wydra), and the pair enjoy romance and travel for two weeks.
However, things change when Carol discovers that the hive mind is using her frozen eggs to grow stem cells, in order to eventually turn her into one of them; He was told that he expected success in about a month’s time.
