Seven people have been arrested and over 300 allegations have been faced after a month’s investigation in a range of theft targeting LCBO stores in Durham region.
The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) announced the arrest on Thursday, revealing that the suspects are held responsible for the stolen goods of about $ 50,000.
The investigation was started in July. Officials say that the focus was on eliminating organized stolen rings, incorporating repeated criminals. The suspects allegedly targeted several LCBO locations, which the police described as the “high volume” of retailing.
Overall, more than 300 allegations have been made against seven persons. The police have also identified three additional suspects who live on a large scale.
