Officials say a person from St. Catherine was arrested on Thursday on charges of pornography.
According to the Niagra Regional Police Service (NRPS), the authorities started an investigation into online sexual abuse of children through an anonymous social media platform in May 2025.
On Thursday, NRPS executed a search warrant on a residential apartment in St. Catherine, later seized several digital devices who investigators say “are able to store electronic data”.
Officials later arrested 60 -year -old James Douglas Kremes. He faces several allegations, including two cases of child pornography, a single count to reach child pornography and two calculations to fail to comply with the release order.
He is scheduled to appear in court on 31 July 2025.
