A four -year -old boy has died when a cemetery has fallen into a cemetery Lancashire,
emergency services Rawanstall cemetery was called at around 1 pm A gravstone fell on a child after a report on Saturday afternoon.
Despite efforts to save him, the boy died. Lancashire police Said that his death is not considered suspicious and it will pass a file on HM Koronor “in the appointed time”
A spokesman for the Lancashire police said: “We were called to a child today (5 July) at 1 pm, once a gravity fell on a child.
“Sadly, and despite the best efforts of emergency services, the boy died unhappy. Our thoughts are with their loved ones in this devastating time.
“His death is not considered suspicious and a file will be passed on HM Koronor in the appointed time.”
The cemetery, Catholic, Church of England, located on Burnley Road, completes for non-non-originists and Muslim burials and currently over 21,000 burials and about 17 acres.
There is a chapel that can give a seat to about 40 people that can be hired for a small fee.
