A 32 -year -old man is facing several weapons and suspected drug allegations after a traffic stop in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police says that the officials organized a traffic stop on 15 August near Williams Parkway and Kennedy Road.
Officials say they found a stuffed gun with a converted serial number with a quantity of suspected drugs.
The person arrested at the scene was identified by the police as 32 -year -old Ricardo Dawson of Toronto.
Dawson is facing the following allegations:
- Unauthorized occupation of a gun;
- Knowledge of unauthorized occupation of a gun;
- Capture of a stuffed prohibited or restricted gun;
- There was a gun in the possession of the motor vehicle;
- Capture a gun with a converted serial number;
- Contrary to the order of firearms, etc.;
- Capture of a controlled substance – Schedule III and;
- Capture for the purpose of delivery.
According to the police, a lifetime is subject to the prohibition of a lifetime after the previous punishment for the possession of illegal firearms.
He was kept in pending bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.
