Following this information, the Indian Army’s Spear Corps launched a major search and rescue (SAR) operation on 11 December, deploying multiple teams along with medical units, GREF officers, local police, NDRF personnel and the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Hyuliang. After about four hours of intensive search and rope-assisted descent, the teams found the damaged truck about 200 meters down the road, hidden by dense vegetation and invisible even from helicopters.
