Beneficiaries can verify their status by selecting ‘Beneficiary List’ on the official PM-Kisan portal under Farmers Corner and entering the location details. The government has made e-KYC mandatory to ensure accurate identification and prevent leakages.
Launched in 2019, PM-Kisan is one of the Centre’s largest direct benefit transfer schemes, aimed at supplementing farm income and providing assured annual support to small and marginal farmers.
