The 2025 Skoda Octavia facelift features a revised front design that includes a redesigned butterfly grille and a redesigned bumper. The headlights have been updated with matrix LED technology and new two-element LED DRL signatures.

New matrix lights, optional on lower trim levels but standard on RS models, offer adjustable glare-free high beams. The silhouette remains unchanged, although the rear features updated LED taillights and a redesigned bumper that give the model a sharper look.

The cockpit layout of the 2025 Octavia facelift is basically unchanged, but it adopts a new brown and black two-color theme with brushed silver embellishments. The main update is a new 13-inch floating touchscreen infotainment screen for top trims (10-inch for lower trims). Additionally, dual-zone automatic climate control and a 10-inch digital instrument console are now standard across the range.

Other upgrades include new recycled textiles, slimmer air conditioning vents, and physical buttons for key car functions. The new Octavia comes with a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, wireless charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, ambient lighting and a premium sound system.

The most important update, however, is the integration of ChatGPT into the facelifted Octavia infotainment system. This feature enables the system to respond to more than just basic voice commands. Safety features are extensive, including multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, ISOFIX anchors and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

It is worth noting that the 2025 Skoda Octavia facelift adopts a reorganized variant structure, starting with Essence, Selection, Sportline and RS. Currently, the luxury car Laurin & Klement has been abandoned by the car manufacturer.

The 2025 Skoda Octavia will be launched globally with a choice of petrol and diesel engines. These include a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, and a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine. The 1.0-liter petrol engine has been phased out, and a plug-in hybrid is currently unavailable. Even all-wheel drive versions have been dropped, with all models sending power to the front wheels.

The 2.0-liter TSI engine equipped in the Octavia RS has also been upgraded, with an output of 257 horsepower, an increase of 20 horsepower than before, and a peak torque of 370 Nm when paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.

Skoda Auto India is yet to officially confirm the new Octavia facelift for the Indian market. The Octavia RS is reportedly a contender and could come as a fully imported model. Priced at around Rs 40 lakh (ex-showroom), it is affordable for true enthusiasts.
