2011 Kas Batch mourning the tragic demise of colleague SDM Rajinder Singh

Srinagar, August 2, KDC: The 2011 batch officials of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS) expressed deep grief over the sad and untimely demise of Ramnagar’s Deputy Bhajan Magistrate (SDM), Rajinder Singh, Rajinder Singh.

In a condolence statement for the news agency Kashmir.com, the batch described Singh as a dedicated and kind officer who left an indelible impression on the administration.

“We are surprised and saddened by the untimely demise of the 2011 case batch officer, our respected colleague, Rajinder Singh, SDM Ramnagar. He has left an irreparable zero in our fraternity and the administrative family of Jammu and Kashmir.”

Praising his professionalism and integrity, officials said, “Rajinder Singh was a dedicated, kind and hardworking officer whose commitment to public service was exemplary. His humility, professionalism and unwavering integrity earned him respect to allies and communities he had served.”

The 2011 KAS batch extended solidarity with bereaved family and colleagues, saying, “We stand in solidarity with their families, friends and colleagues during this painful time. We expand our heartiest sensations and pray for the strength to bear this huge loss. Their soul can rest in infinite peace.”

The sudden demise of Rajinder Singh sent shockwaves through bureaucratic circles of Jammu and Kashmir, many people recalled his contribution to public service. Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Chief Secretary Atal Dullu and others also expressed grief earlier, which was said to be tragic for the administration.
