Such bags were available only for a select number of registered customers and, due to their uniqueness, the bags often attracted more resale values than the original value, listened to by the Chester Crown Court.
Investors were released out of the pocket as Watkin used his cash to fund a luxury lifestyle that included a bill of £ 140,000 at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
Watkin of Elderly Edge, Cheshire had no jobs and had no income, but £ 1.2 million was spent between April 2019 and October 2021, before it became bankrupt.

He convicted the earlier hearing in various cases of total fraud of more than 195,000 pounds.
In a separate case, he was found guilty by the jury of making and making indecent pictures of children, who were found on his phone by investigators after his arrest.
On Monday, he was sentenced to four and a half years prison for crimes of fraud and was sentenced to an additional 18 months for abusive paintings.
Judge Simon Berkson said to him: “You used the external personality of someone who was rich and well associated with your fraud behavior to cheat the victims.
“You described yourself as a millionaire and talked about your knowledge of luxury products.
“You suggested that you can be a person who can be trusted with other people’s money. Your true inspiration was to make people out of your money and spend it all on yourself.”
