Police say two men pedestrians were injured after a vehicle crashed into the pole and fell on them at the eastern end of the city on Thursday night.
It took place in Eastern and Rushbrook Avenue around 6:05 pm
Both the victims were rushed to the hospital with non-janleva injuries.
Police say the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene. It is not yet clear what is the cause of a single-vehicle accident.
Eastern Avenue has been closed between Rushbruk Avenue and Leslie Street.
