Mumbai:
Two people were killed and another injured in a wall collapse near Film City in suburban Goregaon on Saturday evening, a civic official said.
The incident took place near Gate No. 2 of Film City on Aarey Colony Road.
A wall about 60 feet long and 20 feet high collapsed, trapping at least three people beneath it, a fire brigade officer said.
They were rescued before the fire brigade team reached the spot, he said, adding that two of them were declared dead by the doctor who came with the 108 ambulance.
The second injured person is being treated at a nearby hospital and a search is being conducted with the help of Percussive Rescue Tool (PRT) kit to find out if any other person is trapped under the debris, the official said.
