The Peel Regional Police has announced two arrests in connection with a triple shooting at Chinguikaus Park in Brampton, causing a nervousness between a busy Civic Holiday Music Festival.
On August 4, the officials were on foot patrol during the Jambana Festival, when several gun bullets were fired at around 9:15 pm
Officials quickly responded, finding three young victims between the ages of 16 and 18.
Two of the shooting victims were treated for serious injuries, while the third suffered minor injuries.
In a video message, acting Deputy Chief Shelly Thompson said that the situation may be very bad due to the large crowd in attendance at that time.
Thompson said that sudden bullets resulted in “terror and chaos” in the park.
“It was a Brazen shooting in a community park where the residents should feel safe,” she said.
“It was a more frightening result capacity.”
On August 19, two suspects were arrested.
The 18 -year -old owner Sahid, along with the murder attempt and an increased attack, faces four cases of allegations of various weapons.
A 17 -year -old man, who cannot be nominated under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces several weapons accusations.
“This violence is completely unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” Thompson said.
