A few days earlier, the FDA had added Durr ground cinnamon and Wise Wife to the health warning, with both distributors issuing recalls for those products.

Durra ground cinnamon was shipped to grocery stores in California and Michigan from August 24, 2024 to October 6, 2025. It can be identified by UPC code: 6251136 034139 and best by date: May 2026

Wise Wife, which can be identified by UPC code: 0 688474 302853, was shipped to retailers in New Jersey, New York, Florida, Maryland, Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Ohio from February 15, 2024 to June 28, 2025.

However, these are only the latest updates to the public health warning. Here are 12 other cinnamon products worth watching that have been added to the FDA’s list starting in March 2024:

  • Cinnamon Powder from Jiva Organics: Official product information not shared by the FDA.
  • Super Brand Cinnamon Powder: The brand’s distributor, IHA Beverages, Commerce, issued a voluntary recall in November 2024.
  • Genuine Cinnamon Powder: Product withdrawn in August 2024.
  • El Chilar’s Ground Cinnamon: The product was recalled in August 2024.
  • Marcum Ground Cinnamon: The FDA announced a recall of the product in July 2024.
  • SWAD Cinnamon Power: The distributor of this product has not announced a recall.
  • Supreme Tradition Ground Cinnamon: The cinnamon, which was sold at popular retailers like Dollar Tree, was recalled in July 2024.
  • Cinnamon Ground from Companhia Indilor Orientale: The distributor of the product has not issued any recalls.
  • ALB Flavored Cinnamon Powder: ALB-USA Enterprises announced a recall of this product in July 2024.
  • Shahzada’s Cinnamon Powder: This product was withdrawn in July 2024.
  • Spice Class Ground Cinnamon: A product recall was announced in July 2024.
  • La Frontera Ground Cinnamon: No recalls have been announced for the product.
