Srinagar, June 21: In view of the serious heatwave, the Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced a 15 -day summer holiday for all government and private schools in the Kashmir Division starting on June 23.
Education Minister Sakina Itu told Srinagar -based news agency Kashmir.com that, “The prevailing weather conditions are unbearable for students. Given their good, we have decided to announce the early summer break.”
He said, “We will review the weather conditions after the holiday is over and decide whether an extension is required.” (KDC)
