A 14 -year -old boy died after being hit by a car in Scotland as the police urged anyone to come forward for information.
Paramedics reached A76 on the Sesnock Water bridge near Hurlford in East Irshire at around 5.10 pm on Wednesday.
Police Scotland said the teenager was declared dead on the spot and his family was informed, as the road was closed for several hours.
The car’s male driver, a Vaxhall course, and his two passengers were examined by paramedics, however, they did not need to attend the hospital.
