A 12 -year -old boy has died after a fire in South London.
Emergency services were called for a bang in a block of Masanattes at Levishm Road, Levishham just before the midnight of Tuesday.
A boy aged 12, died on the spot, Metropolitan Police Said.
Officials participated in this scene London Fire Brigade and London Ambulance Service.
London Fire Brigade Said that ten fire engines and 70 firefighters were sent to deal with the fire.
A maisonette partition between the ground and the first floors was destroyed by the fire. The part of a Messnet division between the second and third floors was also damaged by the fire.
The boy’s family has been informed and he is being supported by expert authorities.
A woman under the age of 54 was treated in a scene of the London ambulance service to the hospital. His injuries are not considered a threat to life.
Three other people left the building before the brigade reached the spot.
The fire was brought under control by 2 pm on Wednesday.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The firefighters said that it is not considered suspicious at this level.
Detective Chief Inspector Danian Reid from Met’s local investigation team in South East London said: “This is a tragic incident and our views are involved with all.
“We continue to work with the investigators of the London Fire Brigade to establish the cause of the fire.
“We understand that it will affect the community and there will be local neighborhood officials, and other emergency services, as the inquiry continues.”
