He said: “This was a very sad incident that included a very young victim and our thoughts remain with the family and friends of the boy who died unhappy at the scene.
“As part of our investigation in this incident, we are asking anyone that at the time of the incident, which can be away from Laddword Street in Vinsford or in or around the Wharton Recreation Ground area and saw anything that can help us in our inquiry, please contact.
