New Delhi, 1 October (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday released a specially designed memorial postage stamp and a silver coin, highlighting the organization’s contribution to the nation, highlighting the organization’s contribution to the nation.
The event was organized by Dr. The Ambedkar was held at the International Center and was attended by RSS General Secretary (Sarkarv) Dattatreya Hosabale, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister explained the importance of the memorial coin.
“In a coin of 100 rupees, on one side there is a national symbol and on the other side, along with the image of Bharat Mata’s Varada Mudra, a lion and Swayamsevak said with all the dedication.
The coin issued on the occasion is of pure silver with a sect of Rs 100.
The reverse side borne the image of Bharat Mata with three Swamsevak, while the Obusvar face tolerates the lion Capital of Ashoka Pillar.
The imagery reflects the traditional currency seen in RSS works, where cadres bow to Bharat Mata.
Along with the coin, a special postage stamp was also launched in memory of ‘100 years of RSS’.
Underlining his symbolic value, PM Modi said, “It also has the importance of the special postal stamp launched today. We know the importance of the parade during the Republic Day celebrations. In 1963, the Sangh’s Swamsevax also participated proudly in the Republic Day Parade. This postal ticket has a hostility of that historic moment.”
Stamp pays tribute to a milestone in the history of RSS, when during the Republic Day Parade of 1963, the Rajpath was marched on the Rajpath, now known as the Kurtavya Path.
The participation came under the invitation of the then Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, who accepted the efforts of the RSS volunteers during the 1962 Indo-China War.
For the Sangh, this episode is a symbol of national service and dedication, it remains a moment of immense pride.
