Nagpur, October 2 (IANS) Rashturia Self -Self -Service Association (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said on Thursday that 26 innocent people were killed in the reactions of several countries after the Pahalgam terror attack and ‘Operation Sindoor’ made it clear who actually stands as a friend of India.
He stressed that while the nation has given a strong response to criminals, more vigilance and empowerment in the field of security is essential for the future.
The RSS started its centenary year celebrations on Vijayadashami in Nagpur, which in 1925 Dr. It was marked as 100 years after its establishment by KB Hedgewar. The Grand Program was held at the Rehimbag Ground, where Swammax’s gathering to recite the RSS Prabhana and attended the A Ceremonial march.
Former President Ram Nath Kovind, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis were also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Bhagwat recently recalled the tragedy.
“Most of the border terrorists killed 26 people, most of the Indians, after asking about their religion. The nation mourned and felt anger at the terrorist attack. In response, our government and armed forces prepared well and gave a strong vengeance. The government and army’s commitment to bravery was clear,” he said.
Underlining the importance of the remaining alert, he said, “Even though we are favorable with all, we have to be cautious about our safety and become more powerful.”
On the international response, God said, “The statements of various countries and our operation revealed our true friends after this attack.”
He also issued a warning against disruptive forces within the country.
He said, “There are unconstitutional elements within the country that are trying to destabilize it. However, these elements will be addressed. The society and administration should now focus on the development of the region (Kashmir),” he said.
He also warned of extensive internal threats like Naxalism, demographic change and social divisions, keeping in mind the efforts of the government to deal with these challenges. However, he stressed that the government and administration need to intensify the development process so that some elements do not resort to adopting extreme activities.
