10 -day summer break for Kashmir schools from July -01: EDU Minister Saqina Itu

): Between the temperature, Jammu and Kashmir Education Minister, Saqina Itu said on Thursday that private and government schools in Kashmir division will inspect the summer vacation of ten days from July -01.

Apart from this, the minister also said that the government has decided to change the time of schools from Saturday.

Speaking specially with the news agency -Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Itu said, “In view of the serious heatwave, the summer vacation for schools in Kashmir Division will be from July -01 to July -10.”

The minister further said that the government will review the weather conditions after July -10 and will call on to expand the holiday accordingly.

“After July -10, we will review the weather conditions and accordingly will call for the expansion of the holiday,” he said.

Regarding the change in school time, the minister said, “From Saturday, the school time in Srinagar municipal border areas will be from 8 am to 1 pm and in the case of schools outside the Srinagar municipal boundaries, the schools will work from 8:30 am to 1:30 am.” – (Kno).
