1 suspect arrested, 2 wanted Mississaga attempted kidnapping

A suspect has been arrested and wanted two and in a kidnapping attempt in Mississaga in June.

Peel police say on June 24, around 10:20 pm, two young women were running in the area near Britannia Road West and Queen Street South.

Three masked people approached him and allegedly tried to woo him a light colored Audi SUV. It is alleged that the suspects chased and attempted to catch the victims with reports, one of which could have a gun and the other knife.

A passer -by intervened and escaped into the suspect Audi. The victims were not physically injured.

On August 18, 26 -year -old Valid Khan of Atobicok was arrested and accused of kidnapping, firearms, auto theft and 33 crimes related to more.

26 -year -old Walid Khan is facing several allegations in an attempt to kidnap in Mississaga.

During the discovery of his residence, two-filled fire-stricken firearms, including an AR-style rifle, automated fire and a pistol, equipped with both prohibited high-capacity magazines and more than 110 round ammunition were allegedly confiscated.

At the time of his arrest, the mine was on probation for pre -violent crimes and was banned from occupied firearms. He has been released on bail with an ankle monitoring.

The remaining two suspects have been described as men in their late teenage conditions for the middle-wounded condition with the middle build.

The suspected vehicle is still outstanding.
