Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, 17 September (IANS) Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Wednesday that the government will provide financial assistance to the beloved sisters (beneficiaries under the Ladki Bahin scheme) in every village.
He said that with this initiative, they would be self -sufficient through business.
The CM announced a resolve to make 1 crore beloved sisters of the state government Lakhpati Didi in the state.
He was speaking at the launch of ‘Mukhyamant Rani Panchayat Raj Abhiyan’, which will be implemented in all gram panchayats of the state from 17 September to 31 December.
CM Fadnavis said that the Mukimant Samriddha Panchayat Raj Abhiyan is not only a campaign to provide benefits by implementing the schemes, but it is also a campaign to teach every villager to live with self-respect. The implementation of Mukamant Rathi Panchayat Raj Abhiyan was on Wednesday (September 17) with the inauguration of ‘Seva Pandharwada (fortnight to provide services) on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
“Cute sisters should not depend only on Rs 1,500 (monthly assistance given to eligible beneficiaries under the Ladki Bahin Scheme), but they will strengthen by providing financial assistance for their business for their business through self-help groups of women. The state said that 1 crore lovely sisters in the state are determined to make ‘Lakhpati Didi’,” he said.
The Chief Minister said that the government has launched several schemes and campaigns for rural development, but only some villages have made progress. “Now, through the Chief Minister Samrud Panchayat Raj Abhiyan, a rich Maharashtra will be built in every village. This campaign has been started so that no village left behind in such competitions. In this campaign, all schemes of central and state governments will be implemented in villages.
He announced that a prize of Rs 250 crore will be given to the gram panchayats who succeed in this campaign. This is the country’s first plan to offer such awards.
“This campaign will bring a change in the lives of the underprivileged. For this, public participation is important. We will bring prosperity by staying united in the village. In many villages of the state, people are making different efforts and bringing about change. AI is being used in agriculture. This is the campaign that it is a campaign. Maharashtra,” he said.
